The moment I first saw the still-life watercolor paintings by Jim the first thing that came to mind was one of the most delicious salsas around, Pico de gallo, also known as salsa fresca and a few more terms. The bright tomatoes, the red onion and the peppers made my mouth immediately begin to water.
When Jim told me that we could use his paintings in our trivets and coasters I was bouncing off the walls with excitement. Looking at those gorgeous watercolors reminds me of a hot summer day where the taste of Mexican food is on the menu.
Buy all three as a set of trivets or you may purchase individually if you prefer something different. Either way, these trivets will look good enough to eat.
